Not far from Configni, the Castle of Montalbano, now private residence, wasparte of the west fortification of Flaminia road, on the opposite side, to look at the passage of the Corridor Byzantine. Part of Terre Arnolfe, and disputed in the war between guelphs and ghibellines, in the XVII century, came into possession of Cesi which transformed the castle into a farm estate.
