In few steps away from the parish, outside the ancient walls of the Castle of Avigliano Umbro, the charming Chiesa di Santa Maria delle Grazie stands around an aedicule with the effigy of the Madonna con il Bambino (Madonna and Child).
The original frescoed structure, attributed to Piermatteo d’Amelia, dates back to a period ranging from the fifteenth to the sixteenth century.
The facade has two slopes, with two steps in front and a portal with a brick frame and a rectangular window above. The small bell tower is located behind the building.
The interior has a single hall with an apse and a fresco of the Madonna and Child.
