Collesecco, once called Spogliano and then Belfiore, is one of the small castles between the territory of Montecastrilli and Acquasparta located on the border with the territory of Todi.
According to tradition, the first settlement may date back to the allocation of land by Octavian Augustus to the veterans of the dissolved legions after the Bellum Perusinum and then renamed as Collesecco because of the scarcity of water and the poverty of vegetation at one time.
Today, from the belvedere of the very pretty Umbrian village, one witnesses agrarian views of absolute beauty.
