Along the journey of the ancient via Flaminia, that connect Carsulae and Acquasparta, there is a particular structure, builded above a roman bridge, the San Giovanni De Budes’s Church (already Butris and before De Buttis).
Builded in the XV century, along the ancient consular road, was property of Order of the Knights of Malta – in the past Gerosolimitan or Sangiovannites priorate – that dedicated the church to their patron San Giovanni Battista.
According to an ancient tradition, the church was called S. Giovanni de Buttis (Rationes Decimarum) , name that may come from two arches – buttis – that consitute tha roman bridge where the church was built.

Inside, even particularly damaged, there are the frescos in the side of apse, where are painted sacred images representing Santa Maria Maddalena, San Giovanni Battista, the Angel Gabriel, the Annunziata and San Francesco.
In the past there was even an ancient crucifix who, in the 1888, was tranfer in the church of San Francesco and now is conserved in the Church of Santa Cecilia.
