Going down to Via Roma , after passing the panoramic Piazzetta Sora Medea and before to discover the colorful Via degli Orti, a small square hosts the entrance of Rosati Palace.
Built around the second half of the XVI century, Rosati Palace welcomes us with its graffiti facade in fake ashlar and the portal adorned with elegant modiglioni.
Belonging to this family , then to the Jacobuzzi, to the Marini, and then to the diocese of Narni, hosts different events linked to this: today is a private residence.
Inside there is a large vaulted atrium and on the main floor a living room decorated with classical Ionic stucco pilasters.
The complex preserves at the end of its garden a particular circular tower crowned by a dome that probably belongs to the medieval defensive system, with a view that goes from the distant Hermitage of San Gerolamo, to the Via Sabina and what in the past was the Porta da Piedi.
