In the same square, there is one of the few elements that were part of the Castle: a suggestive Torre dell’Orologio which in the past had a clock from the XVII century , in six hours and with a hand and now was restored and embellishment with murales of the artist Daniele Del Sette.
Even in this case, the tower is what remains of the complex of the Community Palace, which, placed in front of the palace, today is reorganized into private houses.
The church inside the castle, in the past must be dedicated to San Pancrazio, or was another church always inside the walls – and in this way is mentioned inside the first document of the 1105 content in the Papers of the Abbey of S. Croce of Sassovivo.
Today what remains of the Church of San Lorenzo of Old Attigliano, are the six columns placed in the exact points where stood the sacred building, with a bell tower, from the XVI century, probably built in a preexist structure.
From the documents seems that the church was built with three naves, with a facade with a door surmounted by a rose window, with two little doors around: inside a ciborium and a baptisimal fount from the 1500, today preserves in the new Church of San Lorenzo built after the abatement of the 1964 outside the walls.

Leaving the columns and the church, with behind the village and the gardens, you can arrive at the walls and enjoy the view of the valley below.
With wonder you can lose yourself into the little street of the village to arrive and discover the turrets, one of those has a stair which can accompany on the lower part of the village outside the walls, where there is a suggestive wash house.
Continuing you go back through Square Vittorio Emanuele II, characterized by the Dolphins Fountain, and the Municipality Palace, a structure which was used in the past like a warehouse and barn for the horses by the owners Borghese.
