On top of Mount San Pancrazio , at a height of 1000 metres, next to the homonymous chapel, there are the ruins of a Tempio Italico, the most ancient temple of Umbria and similar to that one of the Mount of Torre Maggiore.
The pre-Roman mountain sanctuary, built around the VI sec. a.c. restructured in the III-II sec.
Several materials were found from a votive stipe and today at the National Archaeological Museum of Perugia but the most interesting discovery was that of a statuette of Mars in bronze 26 cm high. today at the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia in Rome.
The sanctuary of Calvi is similar to other sanctuaries in Umbria, including those of Villa San Silvestro in Cascia and, above all, that of Torre Maggiore above Cesi.
